About Me
Chantal Stuart BN (hons), hyp.dip, NLP pract, HPD, MNCH, MUKHC, MCNHC.
I trained at Southampton University as a Batchelor of Nursing with honours and I am also a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP Practitioner, Accredited Hypno4Children Children’s Hypnotherapist, Accredited Emotional Freedom Technique Pracitioner (EFT tapping), Reflexologist, Aromatherapist, chakra balancing practitioner and Infant Reflexology Instructor who has a great passion for holistic care.
I have worked within the care industry for over 20 years with a range of clients including children with ASD and learning difficulties, adults with learning difficulties, adults with psychiatric conditions and dementia, patients who have suffered a stroke, Rheumatology, Heart and Lung Transplant, gastrointestinal and respiratory conditions, as a complementary therapist within cancer care for the NHS and now practice privately here at The Little Room of Calm treating children and adults with a range of complementary therapies.
I also teach parents/care givers how to give Reflexology to their children, to help soothe anxieties and tension and teach a beautiful bonding practice they can do together at home.
During my time working clinically within the NHS and privately here, I have developed a great interest in treating a person as a whole, taking into account the mind and body and believe that this multi-faceted approach to care can ensure that people are able to experience the best quality of life possible.
I do not diagnose; however, I am medically trained and therefore understand how the many interdependent systems of the mind and body work and how an imbalance can affect the mechanics. This has helped me greatly in my ability to treat my clients with a range of treatments in Hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and energy healing.
I am a professional, Accredited member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy, The UK Hypnotherapy Council, The Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and EFT and Mindfulness Centre. I also hold a full DBS check to enable me to work with children and vulnerable adults.
I hold a safe and confidential space here for children and adults. To feel safe, heard and understood, to relax, to feel supported and empowered with tools and strategies to be able to approach challenges and live life in the best way possible for them.
